For the second year in a row, the Swedish city of Gothenburg hosted an edition of the Free Software Legal & Licensing Workshop (LLW), the annual conference for Legal Network members. Free Software is everywhere, with studies estimating that it is present in about 96% of the applications that we use. But what are the responsibilities and liabilities of the Free Software developers? A potential threat to Free Software developers looms in the form of an ongoing lawsuit in the UK involving Bitcoin and its core developers.
De "Publiek Geld Publieke Code"-campagne en het "REUSE"-initiatief hebben me erop attent gemaakt dat de FSFE een organisatie is die dezelfde idealen steunt als ik. Ik wil hen helpen om neer fantastische dingen te doen en nu ben ik dus een trotse FSFE-supporter.
Ik hoop dat steeds meer mensen het belang van ethisch zijn in hun digitale levens zullen begrijpen en dus bewust Vrije Software gebruiken en dat er uit heel Europea steeds meer vrijwilligers zullen komen.
Ik steun de FSFE omdat zij dat helemaal waard is. Haar gemeenschap is sterk en deskundig op een breed gebied aan onderwerpen dus aan haar missie bijdragen is een goede manier om de Vrije Softwarebeweging te helpen.
